The Application Specialist analyzes every day financial/operational activities and subsequently provide mechanisms to ensure maximum profitability, operation of those activities. The ideal person will oversee the implementation and upgrades of software and applications used for those activities in our company IT infrastructure.

This is a full-time, exempt remote eligible position.

The expected base salary range for this role is $65,000 to $75,000 per year.

Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors such as the  relevant experience, skills, education, and internal equity.

Application, Performance, Billing Functions

• Estimates activities costs based on reports receives from all departments of WFS Cargo – coordination between IS Flight, Anaplan.
• Reports of Control of Weekly turns, study of profitability per customer activity and management reports.
• Monthly/Weekly review of the operational statements of the company + procedures + customer reporting.
• Review of the reporting procedures to the accounting department and reliability of the information

Application Manager Function

• Provide Activities expertise when implementation of business application
• Provide functional/technical support and problem resolution related to business application software systems.
• Organize regular meetings with Application users to maintain a working awareness of their service operations.
• Organize regular meetings with Company IT and Application Support for project and/or cases follow up.
• Analyze Users/Business requirements and structure them for Application enhancements Backlog.
• To ensure change control for business applications and ensure thorough System/UAT testing prior to a full and controlled release

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Inormation Technology with knowledge of the financial sector.
• A solid understanding of operational /performance statistics and accounting principles.
• Knowledge of system design, development, implementation, and user support principles and practices.

• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Familiarity with Project management principles and communication.  Need to have a strong analytical mind and problem-solving skills.

• Remain in a stationary position 50 of the time.
• Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
• Walk short distances.
• Reach above and/or below shoulder.
• Handle/grasp documents or office equipment.
• Sit and/or stand for short or extended periods of time.
• Lift/carry/move objects, files and documents up to 10 pounds.
• Work in an office environment using standard office equipment.
• Talk, listen, and speak clearly on telephone.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
