Responsibilities
The analyst in Spirit Airlines Pricing Department will have the opportunity to maximize total revenue by developing and implementing pricing strategies to leverage the strengths of our business model in assigned O&Ds. This will entail modifying pricing structures, filing competitive fares, and forecasting anticipated demand. The analyst will work with team members to monitor, evaluate and adjust these strategies to ensure revenue is being maximized
- Improve total revenue in assigned markets - Develop and manage pricing structures & strategies throughout the system to drive revenue performance
- Report revenue results to management, summarizing successes and failures in performance for selected O&D’s
- Collaborate with other analysts to drive synergies through pricing, revenue management, network planning, and ancillary products
- Maintain and run revenue-centric reporting & distribute regularly to in-department stakeholders
- Provide regular and ad hoc market performance analysis
- Analyze market dynamics, performance trends, and market opportunities
- Take initiative in identifying and resolving issues around pricing
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, or Computer Science
- Entry level experience in Marketing, Pricing, or Revenue Management a plus
- Comfort and familiarity with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Strategic understanding of social listening and experience interpreting data to deliver insights
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to lead and work collaboratively with internal and external teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- No travel required
- Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
