Position Summary
The Analyst, Social Media will report to the Manager of Social Media and is passionate about travel, internet culture and analytics. To help drive our social media strategy, you will assist in conceptualizing creative content, delivering thorough creative feedback, and execute measurable initiatives to elevate awareness, engagement and growth across our social media channels amongst customers and non-customers of JetBlue. You will collaborate cross-functionally, building and maintaining relationships with individuals within and outside of the organization. The role requires an effective communicator who is analytical and is comfortable working in an ever-changing environment parallel to the world of social media, ready to make a mark on the internet through their creativity.
Essential Responsibilities
Creative
- Coordinate the creation production and execution of social media content, managing link maintenance, video descriptions, verifying tagging, proofread copy and editing, and more
- Ensure creative content delivery is timely and accurate, meeting deadlines
- Be a trend-spotter, ascending notable trends within the Marketing department and delegate to our creative agency for proactive and reactive opportunities
- Contribute creative ideas, inclusive but not limited to brand/influencer partnerships, to share with our internal and external partners to drive strong integration and alignment with social and content strategies
- Collaborate with the Senior Analyst and Manager of Social Media intaking creative briefs and generating ideas to drive engagement, awareness, and growth across social media channels
- Proactively support in monitoring user-generated content and cascade to external partners for potential usage
Analytics
- Lead in assessing profile and post-performance across networks to curate monthly and ad-hoc reports in effort to help meet social benchmarks and ensure the brand is meeting our respective audiences
- Support in social listening analysis and present actionable insights to key stakeholders
- Support in ad-hoc reports for key stakeholders such as our Consumer Promotions and Corporate. Communications team to pull post-performance and social listening analysis of brand announcements and key sales
Admin
- Manage via our tools or natively the scheduling and publishing of social media content
- Support in updating any internal social media resources to ensure details are up to date
- Other duties as assigned
