About the role: As a Junior Accountant, you will assist the accounting team in all functional areas of accounting, including supporting local comptrollers in month-end close activities and entering supplier invoices. You will be required to respond to customer requests and provide a high level of customer service.
What are your responsibilities?
- Verify and post individual financial transactions.
- Ensure invoices comply with tax/legal regulations and accounting standards.
- Adhere to company policies and documented SOX procedures.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers and local business units.
- Liaise with internal partners across countries to obtain required information/approvals.
- Resolve discrepancies by collaborating with business partners and suppliers.
- Work regularly with reports.
What makes you a good fit for this role?
- Secondary vocational or higher education in a relevant field (accounting, finance, economics) or equivalent.
- Proficiency in English (minimum B1).
- Ability to enter data and analyze financial documents.
- Ability to work under time pressure.
- Adaptability to changing deadlines and priorities driven by business needs.
- Accuracy in task execution and strong attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
